Happy 18th Month BDay!!

Who are these?

This what my son used to look like:

Before Dad said the long hair had to go...

and Now...after his first hair cut!
He really looks like a totally different boy

and hair...

After several unsuccessful attempts on my own,
we took him in to get a real hair cut!

New Style

We have to cut Brae's hair in stages...he can't hold still for more than 2 minutes...
So I started with the back

we'd have to go back several times)

Lately, he is not being too interested in reading
(even Dad says, he misses his long hair)

But loves hide and go seek
or more like fitting into tight spaces
[His bangs are next]

A lefty?

We might have a lefty in the family!
Brae uses both hands but he feels very comfortable
using his left hand when he writes, well holds a pen,
or throws a ball

Happy V-Day everyone!!!

Having Breakfast at IHOP
(Brae's hair is getting long...
he'll get a hair cut, eventually)

Sunny, but still cold. So we decided to go to a museum.
The Smithsonian: Natural History Museum.

Brae, still too little to really enjoy, the way most of us, enjoy museums
He has fun his own way:
by watching the kids and
walking all round (and even more if it's by himself)

It is so difficult to get good pictures of Brae;
He loves walking by himself.
He went in and out of this little cave
like a thousand times.

Being silly with Dad.
We finally got him to be on his stroller
(whatever works)

Ring, ring...

El telefono: once he gets it, he won't give it back

Bueno, bueno...

He takes it everywhere...

He hides, so we don't take it away

Although he has his own toy phone,
he still wants ours.

Twice already!

Nap time w/o mommy...
Brae now naps all on his own. When he starts getting tired he asks to
be on his crib, he then asks for his terrible habit: the paci and Mr Elefante.
I leave the room and then he goes to sleep!

He needed me to be there, just there, in order to fall asleep.
He didn't need to be rocked or padded or held,
as long as he could see me,
he would go to sleep. But not anymore!!!
Yay!!!

Chevys

We tried a "Mexican" place called Chevys, what can we say, it was decent, considering the area.
Brae is becoming such a big boy, he enjoys our outtings so much.

He now gets his own placemats and crayons...
the crayons have to quickly go, because he still wants to
chew on everything he grabs

Walk, walk...walk, walk & more walking...sometimes running.

Just a little cold...but as the day went on..we ended up having a beautiful afternoon: 56*

We went everywhere...while we were in Florida

Went to Best Buy to visit Uncle Mike

I even got some crayons

and I got my own plate with fruit and bread!

You could tell I miss my bookshelf

On our way back to VA we visited Aunt Marion and Shelby
I was a little tired, but I really like Shelby

We went everywhere with Grandpa & Grandma
