If I only would have known...

Last night was Brae's 2nd night sleeping in his "new" bed.
Everything was going smoothly until 2ish am...
Brae fuzzed a little bit but went back to bed no crying. But then
he woke up again around 3am. This time took him longer to get back to sleep.
After going back several times, I decided to let him cry a little and see if
he would get just tired and go back to sleep
(I'm sure the neighbors are starting to dislike us).
I finally went in one last time and told him
"close your eyes and go to sleep"
After I left, I heard the door getting shot.
I heard him getting him in bed through the monitor but then got quiet.
I went to go check up on him and he was laying down so
I cracked the door open just a little bit
(since he has been having this anxiety in the dark) to let the hallway night
light in. While I went back to sleep,
again I hear him in the monitor (getting down his crib) and heard the door shot again.
Then it got quiet....
Really at 2?!!

Is that all he really needed... for me to
completely close the door?!
