a good reason...

Pat's vs Geno's

We had to try it for ourselves and
see what these two joints had to offer...

But on our way to Philadelphia, we had several incidents
that turned to be real challenges
like getting stuck in traffic -when Brae's is getting hungry-
(We didn't know there was a
Phillie's ball game until
we got there).
We kept seeing everyone driving wearing
baseball caps and jerseys.
It was hard to find a MICROWAVE
(who doesn't have a microwave?!)
to heat Brae's lunch!
We forgot the stroller!
And one of us had to go the restroom
really really really bad.
BUT WE FOUND GREAT PARKING
ANYWHERE WE WENT!!!

After hearing so much about it, we have our own review

They must be the original,
but the meat was too dry, the bread wasn't fresh
and it was too greasy--and dripping

The meat could have been cut into more pieces,
it didn't have peppers -really people-
& had raw onions
but the meat was tastier, the bread was fresh &
had a great spreading sauce.

So we did like Geno's better.
I don't know if it was worth all the hassle, but we did it
and did it in a day with a 19 month old kid!
(should I say with a food-allergic kid)
